I am one of those people in the world who can say I checked off a life Bucket List point to plant a 1,000. In the early summer of 1995 I headed to Northern Canada to work with a reforestation company team.

 

My older brother had worked with them for many years and hooked me up with the gig. Planting in seedlings a little slower with care, I was always a a distance behind everyone else I have to admit. Camping in the middle of nowhere in a tent in vast empty valleys with icy clear lakes, the majestic Rockies standing near. Far from civilization, walking endless expanses without a soul to where your body gets lost in the grandeur of nature and time.
